Across Canada people are in need of food assistance and Nova Scotia has one of the highest rates of food insecurity. The Yarmouth Food Bank Society is dedicated to the relief of poverty in Yarmouth County, western Nova Scotia. Through our charity, volunteers work to serve many families in need in our community.

Since 1987 our registered charitable organization, the Yarmouth Food Bank Society, has played a key role in providing emergency food support for those in need. We are a member of the Feed Nova Scotia network.
