Three volunteers at the food bank

Your gift allows us to feed many individuals and families in need every month. With your help, we can beat hunger!

Small food donations by individuals can be dropped off on Tuesdays during opening hours at the side door of the Yarmouth Food Bank located at 2 Herbert Street in the Town of Yarmouth.

The Best Food to Donate:

Food Packing at food bank

Non-perishable and nutritious items such as canned meat and canned vegetables, cereals and rice are the easiest to store. Take a look at this list below to see what kind of food our clients need most, or if you'd prefer to donate money, click here.

Have perishable or fresh items you want to donate?

Feel free to give us a call to see if they are items we can take at this time. We ask if you're donating perishable items to please bring them right to us – do not place them in a donation bin at a grocery store.
